Surely this is incorrect. Sherlock fandom is for the BBC series. The canon has an entirely different (although occasionally overlapping) constituency. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.43.209.74 (talk • contribs) February 5, 2017 (UTC)

I agree, this is not what people think of when they hear the words "Sherlock fandom", and when people think of fans of the books, this is not the first name to come to mind. I propose renaming it along the lines of "Sherlock Holmes fandom", "Holmesians", "Sherlockians", "Holmesian fandom", or "Sherlockian fandom". "Sherlock fandom" could redirect there, but it's not exactly a synonym? Maybe make a section about the BBC show and redirect there? Allthegoodnamesaretaken2 (talk) 13:50, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
