afaik, the spatial resolution of TROPOMI was doubled after signal-to-noise tests and bandwidth considerations and is now 3.5x7km^2 for bands 2-4 (near UV and blue), anybody knows a source online? 129.206.29.135 (talk) 10:13, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

I don't know how to change the title, but it is wrong. This is about Sentinel 5 precursor (S5P), which is in orbit. Sentinel 5 is a planned future mission. briardew (talk) 00:54, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sentinel-5P dimensions and launch mass[edit]

1.40 m × 0.65 m × 0.75 m is actually TROPOMI size. Sentinel-5P satellite is 3.35 m high, 5.63 m across ^[1]. Also launch mass, as stated on official Copernicus programme website, is 820 kg, including 82 kg fuel and TROPOMI instrument 220 kg ^[2].
