Last name[edit]

Can anyone provide a phonetic spelling for the pronunciation of his last name? Thanks. (JosephASpadaro 06:58, 11 March 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Hegyes pronounced Hedges. Hegyes is Hungarian translated meaning "mountain peak, mountain man, the apex." used in a sentence: "I climbed to the hegyes."

Two of his children have two mothers?[edit]

Married to Cynthia Wylie (1994 to present), four children: Cassondra Hegyes 1987, Alex Kessler 1988, Sophia Kessler 1991, Mac Hegyes 1991.
Married to Lynn O'Hare (1987 to 1993) two children Cassondra 1987, Mac 1991.

Cassondra and Mac are listed next to both wives; this is rather confusing.

Lynn O'Hare is the biological mother to Cassondra & Mac Hegyes. However, they lived with Cynthia Wylie since 1994 and consider her also their "mom" who raised them.

WP:COI note[edit]

Robert Hegyes was a guest speaker at my university yesterday. Having noticed that his article lacked an image, I requested his permission to photograph him for Wikipedia. He informed me that his agent handles his Wikipedia material and would be adding a head shot soon. I thanked him and advised him that the image must be released under a free license or into the public domain.

I don't know who Mr. Hegyes' agent is, but the implication was that he/she has edited this article. I'm posting this note to point out our conflict of interest guideline (for the benefit of said agent and anyone watching the article). —David Levy 12:36, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
