Railway stations[edit]

Does Plockton have two railway stations, Plocton and Duncraig?

Laurel Bush 11:17, 20 July 2005 (UTC).[reply]
Er, no. Duncraig is nearby. I made it as a redirect, a while before I wrote the page on the Kyle Line. There is a small bit of information about Duncraig Castle on the Plockton page, hence the redirect. Nowhere does it actually say that Duncraig Castle or station are actually in Plockton though... Er ... thanks.

Millennium[edit]

It appears that Ken Bruce presented three hours of live coverage from Plockton on BBC Radio 2 to see in the New Year in 2000. What was all that about? Was anything special going on there? Did anyone hear the programme or know what it consisted of? 11:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I think it might have had something to do with the fact that his brother lives there. It was live from the village hall. As I recall, it was a mixture of music and talk, and was cut between Plockton and Jerusalem! Maccoinnich 22:25, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Climate - year[edit]

I may be obtuse, but 29.4 (84.9) for 'year' in the climate section seems odd. Burraron (talk) 12:49, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
