This article is about the census-defined place, not the island. As the CDP no longer exists as a separate entity (it was incorporated into the Village of Islamorada), it is not the same as the island. -- Donald Albury 10:23, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
The 1990 census lists Plantation and Plantation Key as two separate CDPs. What's going on? --NE2 17:21, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
