Bravo[edit]

I'm happy to see this article is more honest then the other article covering the subject: Norwegian Campaign --197.229.150.150 (talk) 14:58, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Looking through the edit history, it appears that user EnigmaMcmxc, citing "NPOV", has since butchered half a quote in the lede and made other heavy-handed edits. User then had the gall to complain that the article still isn't neutral, ostensibly because it could be construed that Britain's plans for Norway, thus creating the same sort of blockade and strangulation that Britain had used to starve and kill millions in the Napoleonic Wars and the First World War, influenced German policy - even as Germany became aware of Britain's plans. We have to instead assume that Germany did not act on this, because we have to assume Britain never would have done such a thing that would convince another country that it would invade another country, even if Britain invaded Iceland shortly thereafter. We have to assume Britain had no intention to try to strangulate, even if it was willing to let its own subjects starve just to be able to wage this war. I bet user is having an aneurism now that Churchill the racist imperialist hero is in a box, getting pelted with eggs and covered with graffiti. Seems the world doesn't care about the lying justifications of the British war office anymore. Truth prevails.--Justanedithere (talk) 20:47, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since there is no reason given for the templates, I'll remove them. BP OMowe (talk) 01:43, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

References is a complete and utter mess, since editors did major changes to the article without bothering to place the sparse references correctly afterwards, or even removed them. I tried to source the changes I did, as well as restoring a previously deleted one, but rest of the text needs to be checked, especially since Claasen isn't available online.
