Steffen Hentrich’s opinion – really relevant?[edit]

Steffen Hentrich works as a referee for the Friedrich Naumann Foundation since 2008 [1] and runs a blog[2]. According to the website of the foundation he's a contact person for: health care policy (Gesundheitspolitik), community issues (Kommunales), environmental policy (Umweltpolitik), energy policy (Energiepolitik) and consumer protection policy (Verbraucherschutzpolitik). Before 2008 he was a policy analyst and scientific assistant[3]. In his function as a contact person / referee and in his jobs before he never specialised in agriculture or the meat business. He clearly doesn’t qualify for commenting on the history of farming (“In his view animal welfare has never been a priority, and the romantic idea of a traditional meat industry is unrealistic”). His opinion (“rejected the link between meat-eating and environmental problems”) also does not qualify as relevant for an encyclopedic article. NewJohn (talk) 22:08, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
