- Oppose. Both names are used for the same substance, as far as I can tell. Google gives 12.700 results for marinobufagenin and 6.710 for marinobufagin; PubMed gives 126:12. Marinobufagenin also seems the more logical name to me as the substance is an aglycone. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 15:59, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Per Chemical Abstracts the two names are synonyms for the same chemical compound and a literature search shows that marinobufagenin appears to be used more often the scientific literature. I think the current title "Marinobufagenin" is acceptable, and probably preferable. -- Ed (Edgar181) 17:04, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
