The song in question was specifically written for and is about Leeds United FC and not any other sports team. I think describing its usage by supporters of other teams as "stealing" it is fair comment. Whether Leeds Rhino's fans support United as well is irrelevant. And Chappy84 should bear in mind that while he may well support Leeds Rhino's, the greater number of Leeds United supporters do not. --Goldmanuk 14:27, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know the song was specifically written for Leeds United. I am a very big Leeds United fan and I added the info to the Leeds United main article on the fact that it was created for the 1972 final. However describing the use of lyrics as stealing is incorrect, as well using a term which is un-encyclopaedic. I understand that some Leeds United fans are not fans of the rugby, myself included, but I do support the team as I support all teams from Leeds (Including Yorkshire C.C.C.). Goldmanuk should bear in mind that he is unable to know every one of the almost million Leeds fans in the country so will not know what percentage support the rugby teams, he should also refrain putting words into my mouth, I simply stated that some supporters would follow both teams and this is how the song transcended to the terraces at headingley. If he cares to take the issue up with an administrator, I feel they would agree that the song wasn't "stolen" and this is an un-encyclopaedic description. --Chappy84 15:03, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mark, can you please show links to documented evidence you have attended all Wolves games at home since the songs inception in 1972! I will give you 3 months before re-establishing the original text!

Laughable song anyway why would Wolves want to sign it I've seen Burnley play Wolves a few times and never heard this.
