Neutrality[edit]

It sounds like the person who wrote the article either copy and pasted it from a state parks website or has a personal connection to the park. It just talks about how great the place is. No listing of attractions. A more neutral view of the park should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Molestash (talkcontribs) 22:05, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

It is a County park, not a State Park. Checking the County Parks' website shows no material has been copied. Checking the original article, there is no mention about "how great the place is". Granted, the original article is short on details, but I find nothing wrong with its neutrality. Golfrt1 (talk) 18:48, 1 July 2011 (UTC)golfrt1[reply]

Why the name?[edit]

I grew up with the story that because it was a man made island, that is how it got the name. I was hoping to get more info on that and how much it is eroding, if it is. Did they use a certain foundation to ensure that it didnt erode? My interest was rekindled after reading about the man made islands in Dubai. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BillyNair (talkcontribs) 17:37, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
