Notability[edit]

@Onel5969: Thank you for the page review! I see you added the notability tag. I added a few more references. The article now has four references to peer-reviewed articles from authors not associated with LogicBlox, Inc., in addition to three references to peer-reviewed articles with authors who are associated with LogicBlox. Do these references sufficiently address the notability concern?

There are several more peer-reviewed articles I could add that do have authors associated with LogicBlox, not sure if that helps. siddharthist (talk) 15:34, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just added a reference to a book on logic programming with a chapter on LogicBlox, written by two Stonybrook professors. siddharthist (talk) 15:49, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969 It appears that you've deleted this page without discussion. Can you please engage with me here to discuss why the sources in the article were inadequate in your opinion? siddharthist (talk) 14:37, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All of them. Not a single in-depth source about this. They all mention it, but I cannot see any in-depth coverage. Also, apologies about the delay in responding, I saw your ping, and wrote the brief response, and thought I clicked the reply button, but this has been sitting out there in limbo for a couple of weeks. I would say the sources "LogicBlox, Platform and Language: A Tutorial", "Design and Implementation of the LogicBlox System", and "Declarative Logic Programming: Theory, Systems, and Applications" all provide in-depth coverage. "Porting Doop to Souffle" also discusses several aspects of LogicBlox in some depth, though it is not the main subject treated by that paper. The latter two sources are completely independent of the authors of LogicBlox. Many of the other papers are deep descriptions of some more particular aspect of LogicBlox, such as the join algorithm or provenance debugging feature.
Hopefully it's fairly clear how the first three sources I mentioned provide in-depth coverage. For the others, let me know if there's a way I could make the connections more clear, perhaps by adding more inline citations or direct quotes. If you disagree with my assessments of these sources, I'd love to try to come to an agreement but I'd also be happy to seek a third opinion. siddharthist (talk) 23:58, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
