The whole article reads oddly. It starts with "Liverpool slave traders were able to supply fabric from Manchester to the Caribbean islands at very competitive prices" which presumably should say to Africa. Indeed it makes no mention of the triangular basis of the Atlantic slave trade, which meant few if any slaves actually came to Liverpool.-17:01, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
