It's misleading the say the islands are owned by the NTS. The trust only owns a few areas on these islands not the whole islands. Most of of the land is in private ownership, with some owned by the RSPB (Yell) and preumably still the MOD (Unst). Source Haswell Smith.--JBellis 16:26, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I propose to reorganise the list of NTS houses and gardens into a table with property name, region and date of acquisition as headers, which are then sortable by the reader.
