I have tidied up this article but I find it rather confusing and I think it still needs improvement. Biscuittin (talk) 15:29, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Leveling effect and thermodynamic activities[edit]

The article does not specify the relation between its subject and the activity coefficients and the degree of dissociation of strong acids at higher concentrations.--5.2.200.163 (talk) 13:41, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Source from Chemistry Libre Texts[edit]

Today Graham87 reverted an edit by RedSquirrel22 who had inserted a citation from Chemistry Libre Texts. We do need a citation for the statement supported here, which even has a Citation needed tag. However the problem with citing the Chemistry Libre Texts page is that it cites Wikipedia as a source. So we would have two websites citing each other for the same fact and neither citing a reliable source from the chemical literature. This is not an acceptable situation, and I therefore agree with Graham87's deletion. Dirac66 (talk) 01:58, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
