Nomination for Speedy Deletion[edit]

I have nominated the page for Speedy Deletion as there is little information. I don't understand what the article is trying to tell me. If you add something, please put the {{hangon}} template and leave me a message here.

The page definitely doesn't meet CSD:A1 mentioned by nominator. Quoting the criteria: "No context. Very short articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Example: "He is a funny man with a red car. He makes people laugh."" It is clearly shown in the article what it is about - a human rights NGO in Latvia.
Besides, it's worth mentioning that the subject of this article obviously meets notability criteria. It exists already in two other wikis (lv: , ru:). The organization has got at least two high awards in its field - so, van der Stoel award, established in 2001 by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, is awarded by jury, chaired by the OSCE High Commissioner OSCE High Commuissioner on National Minorities. The EU-US Democracy and Civil Society Award is significant, too.Aleksandrs Kuzmins (talk) 18:29, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed - it does (just about) establish the context, but please expand the abbreviations - what do NGO, IHF, LCHRES, etc stand for? (LCHRES is presumably the article subject, but this isn't clear at first reading). Remember, this article will be read by people who may know nothing about the subject. —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 18:33, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I just needed more citations and abbreviations clarified. It looks like it was revised a bit, so I'll take the...Wait, wheres the speedy deletion template?!? Anyway, it does make a bit more sense. Thanks for letting me know...If you feel that it wasn't nessicary, I'm sorry!
