Merge discussion[edit]

Kanamycin is a type of aminoglycoside. Hence Aminoglycoside-3'-phosphotransferase is just a more specific term for kanamycin kinase. Both have identical EC numbers. Since the EC accepted name for this class of enzymes is kanamycin kinase, the direction of the merger should be from aminoglycoside-3'-phosphotransferase to kanamycin kinase. I have added the synonym aminoglycoside-3'-phosphotransferase to this article which can serve as the target of the redirect from aminoglycoside-3'-phosphotransferase.
