untitled[edit]

Although I'm not a fan of Strugnell, this article as it stands is a character assassination. It needs to be tempered with some more constructive material. He was after all a first class scholar in his field and was the first scrolls scholar to bring an Israeli epigrapher, Elisha Qimron, into the fold.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it 'character assassination'...these are all clearly established facts. The article mentions that Strugnell brought in other scholars. I have had a long hard look at the article and believe it to be reliable and honest. Jack1956 18:18, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yes, but there are a whole lot of other established facts that came before the other established facts. no? IsraelXKV8R (talk) 05:22, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Start of editorship[edit]

The article states that Strugnells time as editor started in 1984. However, other sources (Tov, 2002) state that Benoits term as editor ended in 1986. A small discrepancy here. Input on this detail is welcomed.--Hawol (talk) 22:14, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
