As Belgium didn't exist until over a decade after his death is it worth mentioning it as his "birth country"? Or should his birth country be Liege? I'm serious here as in the future the political map might (heck, will) change again, imagine if in the future Europe would be one country would we have to write "Huy, Europe"? (I know, I know WP:CRYSTAL, but I just hate using non contemporary countries for contemporary births). --Hoang the Hoangest (talk) 02:20, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would serve everyone - essentially the audience - if the template was to be modified to include the name of the country and town (or place) at the time of the event and the name of the country and town (or place) at present. Googlewell (talk) 15:08, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
