Bigamy Case[edit]

I have added to this article much information from a chapter in a book by David C.Cox, "Foul Deeds & Suspicious Deaths in Shrewsbury and Around Shropshire" (2008), which focuses on the bigamy case he was involved in (but as innocent party). The only other bigamy case concerning a VC winner to my knowledge was James Collis (guilty party) who was convicted in 1895 and consequently forfeited his VC. By the time of Doogan's case, George V had banned forfeitures of the award in 1920.Cloptonson (talk) 15:53, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
