This page is not unambiguously promotional, because, if it's good enough for fr.wiki, why not here? ... "unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company"?? Which company is that, exactly? He's a member of Académie des Beaux-Arts. How bizarre. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:05, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's like saying if it's good enough for a Wikia, it's good enough for here: all sites are different and have different criteria for inclusion. And in case you contested this deletion so fast you didn't actually read the banner, it says "because in its current form it serves only to promote an entity, person or product." He's a notable contemporary artist. The post on my Talk Page says this:
"... because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic."
So how would one "fundamentally re-write" this? It's a set of facts. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:20, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's not my responsibility to re-write it, as the creator that's your job. But seeing how the CSD was declined, it'll remain for now. Grammarxxx(What'd I do this time?) 22:59, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say it was "your responsibility" to re-write it. What do you mean excatly by "for now"? Martinevans123 (talk) 23:04, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
