Kolletschka needs a wiki page[edit]

Jakob Kolletschka is mostly known for his tragic death which lead Semmelweis to his discovery of the etiology of childbed fever.

"Kolletschka" returns 2,108 hits on Google - most are circle references, and clones. Many are inaccurate. For this reason alone, an accurate wiki page is needed. Little is known, I found his birthdate 1803 on http://www.mindfully.org/Health/Ignaz-Philipp-Semmelweis5mar1865.htm, but there are other factual inaccuracies there, so it should be checked Power.corrupts (talk) 21:52, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is a picture of Ferdinand von Hebra, Viennese dermatologist. Likewise, the pictures of von Hebra on Wikipedia seem to be inaccurate. I think the picture of the young von Hebra is actually Kolletschka. Source: Immortal Magyar. Semmelweis, conqueror of childbed fever by Frank G Slaugher, Henry Schuman, New York, 1950.
