Hud[edit]

Hudson Taylor Armerding was named for Hudson Taylor, a British Protestant Christian missionary to China and founder of the China Inland Mission (CIM, now OMF International), who was was able to preach in several varieties of Chinese, including Mandarin.
Dr. Armerding was fondly known as 'Hud' by undergraduates at Wheaton College, where he was President. MaynardClark (talk) 16:27, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
