About the reference tag at the top[edit]

I thought that the one only need references when there was a chance of anyone disputing something.

I have read this article, and all that is written here seems to be things that everyone knows, or should know. Unless anything here is disputed in anyway, I shall remove the reference tag at the start of the article sometime. DanielDemaret 09:04, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"all that is written here seems to be things that everyone knows" - so doesn't need references. Try broaching that argument with Jimbo; then run away quickly before he boots you up the arse. References are the very essence of Wikipedia.Willy turner (talk) 00:02, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be deleted and content merged into the History section of Political science. I will do this now and redirect link there. 98.206.142.180 (talk) 20:23, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We have found the whole article at this time has been plagiarized from "Career in Political Science" by Dr. Shrikant Yelegaonkar. We are planning to work on the "India", "China", "Middle East", as well as the "ancient" and "medieval" areas of the "Western" section. Someone should probably work on the other sections in order to right the issue. Enpzmf (talk) 15:50, 11 October 2019 (UTC)Enpzmf[reply]
We are rewriting some plagiarized sections in the Ancient Western tab, the India tab, and the China tab. These changes will make sure that less of the article is plagiarized and also add detail to these sections. Edv995 (talk) 15:12, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
