Proposed deletion resolved[edit]

@Piotrus: I de-prodded. The sources that I added should survive an average AfD nomination. -- intgr [talk] 18:17, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I hope this means the page won't be deleted - I found it useful and I'm sure others will PurpleCamel — Preceding unsigned comment added by PurpleCamel (talkcontribs) 14:47, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed page changes[edit]

Hi. My name is Raven and I work at HashiCorp. In compliance with WP:COI, I'd like to propose a few updates to the page for impartial editors to consider:

  • Here is a proposed updated infobox with more recent financials. It also has a simple Industry parameter, rather than an outdated list of individual products.
  • Here and here are some images of the founders and the CEO. This depicts the founders together, rather than in two separate images, which I think is better.
  • Here is a proposed History section. The current section is virtually empty. I also think the "Security issue" section should be merged here, per MOS:OVERSECTION (discouraging 1-paragraph sections) and WP:CRIT (discouraging dedicated sections for criticisms).

Thanks in advance for anyone who spends the time to consider the proposed changes. InfrastructureForever (talk) 20:44, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The proposed changes are pretty mundane and nobody has responded for three months, so I went ahead and put them in. However, please revert me if you do disagree with the edits. The one edit I did not make is merging the dedicated section on a security breach into the History section. That's the only thing I could think of that could give rise to an accusation of impropriety. I think WP:CRITS discourages creating dedicated sections for controversies, so hopefully an impartial volunteer will still consider doing that.
