Awkward phrase[edit]

What is "a veteran-like style"? I suspect an inappropriate literal translation from French. - Jmabel | Talk 19:21, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • It does sound a little strange. The French original is " .. avec un esprit ancien combattant ". I hope someone else can do better. Zargulon (talk) 23:17, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Minor internal contradiction[edit]

After the publication by L'Action française of an article accusing Roger Salengro of having deserted during the First World War, Gringoire launched a substantial defamation campaign against the interior minister (Action française had done no more that relay Gringoire's accuations, now in the public eye).

So which came first? - Jmabel | Talk 19:30, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well spotted. Maybe someone has a better idea.. Zargulon (talk) 23:19, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
