Title[edit]

Case sensitivity distinguishes between Vector Analysis (a book) and Vector analysis (a mathematical subject). Similarly, the title of this article can be distinguished from Geometric algebra. — Rgdboer (talk) 02:33, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dilation and trace[edit]

The terms dilation and trace used by Artin in this book are peculiar to this author. The Wikipedia dilation (geometry) is a narrower class of mappings than Artin's dilation. In the disambiguation article trace, none of the uses given there corresponds to Artin's usage explained in this article.
