Talk:General Health Questionnaire

HI, I saw your link to this article from the Mental Health article. Good work on this questionnaire article. I would like to contribute to this article from time to time. I have a few initial ideas for you to consider. First, I would suggest addressing the word "minor" psychiatric disorders. I think I know what you mean, probably depression, anxiety, suicidal behaviors/thoughts? If so, I think it would be good to change the word "minor" to the word "common" and the word "disorders" to the word "conditions". Then I would add which conditions the questionnaire is supposed to examine. "...common psychiatric conditions, such as anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts". Secondly the article mentions that it has been translated into a number of languages, but it only lists two. It might be better to add any additional languages that the scale has been translated and validated into, (keeping the word "number"), or changing the word "number" to "two" and qualifying the sentence to say that the scale has been translated and validated into two additional languages in addition to English". Third, I would provide a link to the questionnaire itself so that readers could look at it.

I'd be willing to make these and other changes for you to examine, but I wanted to ask because some Wikipedias like to make their own changes. Let me know here or on my talk page User talk:Cityside189 if you'd like me to take a stab at it...

Do these suggestions make sense? If so I am glad to have helped. But I know not everyone agrees with every suggestion, right?

Happy Editing!!
