Tong?[edit]

Why is this linked to Tong, West Yorkshire?

It seems that some citizens from Fulnek settled this town. (maybe, I don't know). I think, if it is not explained, the link can be removed. --Czfroggy 20:21, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Translation[edit]

Who is traslating this article? I wanted to do it, but if somebody else wants, I'll be glad ;-) (Is it being translated from czech?) --Czfroggy 20:21, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fulneck?[edit]

I think Fulneck is not a german translation for Fulnek, but is the old town name only. Long time ago it was derived from Vulneck. Oficial german name is Fulnek. Is it necessary to put Fulnek into Fulneck article? --Czfroggy 20:27, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the link to Yorkshire ought really to be reinstated. There is a Yorkshire Fulneck (sic), which was certainly a Moravian settlement founded by members of the Unity of the Brethren around 1744 in, roughly speaking, Pudsey. Biographers of Len Hutton, who came from Pudsey, often pay tribute to its influence locally. It has its own Wikipedia article! About 40 years afterwards another one was founded near Manchester called Fairfield - today part of Droylsden, and largely still standing, also with its own Wikipedia article.Delahays (talk) 00:30, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
