Correct name?[edit]

Her name in the article has been changed to "Eve Sunny Day Hewson" All the many, many references I can find suggest she is actually called "Memphis Eve Hewson" Theroadislong (talk) 20:14, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's actually "Memphis Eve Sunny Day Iris Hewson" as stated by her on the Kelly Clarkson Show in March 2021. Problem With Names[edit]

I post some information on Eve Hewson's article (her real name), I found it on a reliable source -Eve Sunny Day Hewson-, but you deleted it because you "THINK", Eve was joking about her name. I don't know, but I think there's a policy where you can only post information from a reliable source, not what you "think". I don't think Eve was joking, due her little brother's name-Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q- Who says Bono and Ali wouldn't name their girl Eve Sunny Day Hewson?? Plus, any source-as far as I know- says that Eve's first name is Memphis.. NOT EVEN HER OWN FATHER in U2 by U2... So, how can we fix this?Miss Bono (talk) 15:47, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The reference you gave indicated what her passport said, which is not necessarily the same as her birth name.

The following references call her Memphis Eve Hewson.

None of these are brilliant references but unless you can come up with another reliable third party reference that says otherwise I think the article should still call her Memphis Eve Hewson or maybe even just Eve Hewson. Theroadislong (talk) 16:05, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
