Asterixis[edit]

"also the medical term asterixis refers to a periodic loss of muscle tone, the opposite of what Astérix displays when he drinks the magic potion".

Surely this is irrelevant projection/original research loosely tied in to the subject with a tenuous connection (it'd be strange enough for him to be named after the effect of taking potion; why on earth would he be named after the opposite of that effect?). if no-one objects, i'm removing it in 1 week. tomasz. 14:18, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cartoon Aid Collection[edit]

Two short stories appeared in the charity collection “Cartoon Aid”, copyright 1987, a compendium of comic book stories sold to raise money for famine relief. They were titled “Kissing Under the Mistletoe in the Year IX”, and “Mini, Midi, Maxi”. I don’t think that either had been published in English elsewhere before; I’m not sure if the first one has been collected under a different name since, although the latter was published later under its same title in “Asterix and the Class Act”. I can’t see any mention of the translators for the Cartoon Aid versions, but would assume they are the usual. Jock123 (talk) 11:20, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
