Title format[edit]

There is a standard format for the titles of articles on monarchs, and there is no reason for Emperor Tenji to be exempt from this. Just as Emperor Go-Toba of Japan and Richard II of England are listed as such, so should this article be moved back to "Emperor Tenji of Japan". LordAmeth 12:08, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong dates[edit]

Tenji was not born in 652, but 626. Likewise he died in 672, so his reign can not have continued into the 8th century. 185.153.212.45 (talk) 11:56, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
