Update[edit]

Additional sources in response to editor Citrivescence note have been added. I have included online sources if you do not have access to the books used for verification. In regards to the neologism, I am not really sure about this because the term is descriptive of an aspect of Internet and the technology is also a recent and developing phenomenon. That being said, this article is in a crowdsourced platform and if there are problems or new info, other editors can contribute and improve as well. In this vein, further concerns can be discussed here in the Talk page so that interested editors can benefit from the insight. Darwin Naz (talk) 22:54, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Darwin Naz: What I was referring to is this article, WP:NEOLOGISM. Based on the references, it was not evident that the term "emotive internet" is established to the extent that it that should have a standalone page. This does not mean that the work isn't worthy of inclusion in Wiki. With the given references, my assessment is that this should be merged to another page.
