restored external media of video of the poet reading in strict accordance with wp:EL: "What can normally be linked: 1.Wikipedia articles about any organization, person, website, or other entity should link to the subject's official site, if any. See Official links below. 2.An article about a book, a musical score, or some other media should link to a site hosting a legally distributed copy of the work, so long as none of the Restrictions on linking and Links normally to be avoided criteria apply. 3.Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that is relevant to an encyclopedic understanding of the subject and cannot be integrated into the Wikipedia article due to copyright issues,[3] amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks), or other reasons." 198.24.31.118 (talk) 18:03, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Some external links are welcome (see What can normally be linked, below), but it is not Wikipedia's purpose to include a lengthy or comprehensive list of external links related to each topic. No page should be linked from a Wikipedia article unless its inclusion is justifiable according to this guideline and common sense. The burden of providing this justification is on the person who wants to include an external link.". It is not our goal to just include external links. These links that you add are readings by the subject, not readings about the subject, they do not help in understanding more about the subject. Moreover, there are already 8 external links, some of which are already book readings by her (in combination with an interview with her). These links plainly violate WP:NOT#LINKFARM. --Dirk Beetstra T C 18:07, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
three is not lengthy nor comprehensive. when do you propose to curate on a case by case basis as proscribed in the policy? when do you propose to comply with the policy? this is not a link farm but by all means take it to ANI. 198.24.31.118 (talk) 18:10, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The burden of providing this justification is on the person who wants to include an external link. You lengthen by 3, from 8 to 11. That is considerable linkfarming. These links do not only violate WP:EL, they also violate WP:NOT#LINKFARM. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 18:12, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

let's review each external link on a case by case basis.

as a sign of good faith, why don't you improve the article by adding 3 or 4 references from links ; remove one link and restore 3 or 4 external links as primary sources of the article subject. the burden is upon you to demonstrate AGF on a case by case basis as proscribed by the policy. 205.201.255.5 (talk) 18:27, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

article improved, per this list. 205.201.255.5 (talk) 18:41, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
