Needs Clear Summary First[edit]

Answering this article's copy-edit request, I first reviewed the plot summary, hoping it needed only some tender-love-and-care to become beautiful prose; but I was wrong, for the plot summary leaves so many unanswered questions that I cannot fill-in-the-blanks and must instead ask that the article's chief author fill them himself.
