HELP!!![edit]

I am deeply confused. I was trying to add actual references to the article, and found this one, but the town name is different. I'm not certain it is the same place? Which of the two taverns in the article are in the actual "crooked" house? The external link is showing me something else completely different, too.... Definitely not the same place. LynwoodF (talk) 19:52, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Garbled information[edit]

There is a great deal wrong with this short article. The first date is too early, though the second may be right. The story about Nell Gwyn does not relate to this building and is in any case untrue. I am hoping to get hold of an authoritative work on the building, in order to rewrite the article. LynwoodF (talk) 19:52, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising[edit]

The new occupants of the building have used the article to advertise their business. This is not allowed on Wikipedia. See this article. LynwoodF (talk) 09:51, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Have removed all the unreferenced stuff and given some new, referenced details. Although still a little unsure as to my triple-author sfn referencing. I very much doubt there is a specific work on the house; it is only Grade II and Pevsner doesn't even give it a full sentence. But the Historic England and BLBO entries are helpful. I am told there is a monograph by a respected local historian, but I have yet to set eyes on it. LynwoodF (talk) 14:20, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
