Talk:Continental time

Ambiguous whether continental time refers to the 24 hour clock or CET. In practice the term isn't much used (because it is vague?) but invariably refers to CET. I've lived in the UK for 20 years, and I have on occasion heard CET being called "continental time", but I have never heard that expression being used for 24-hour notations, especially as 24-hour notations have been the UK norm for a long time in a growing number of areas, such as timetables (since 1964), and an increasing number of radio and TV schedules.
