Picture[edit]

I think lead picture should now be a picture of him playing for Chelsea. He was never a regular starter for Manchester City during his time there and has already played more minutes for Chelsea than his entire Manchester City career. He's been a regular starter for Chelsea since joining them and will likely be much more associated with the club in his legacy. 77.98.210.44 (talk) 13:37, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why not one of the bst young players

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.
If he has been widely described as one of the best young players in reputable sources it can probably be added, but this would have to be more than a passing mention in a single source. Jamedeus (talk) 19:59, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to change the picture to a more recent one as a Chelsea FC player. This would be more accurate to his current profile. 62.45.104.96 (talk) 13:42, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 15:54, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This bio needs to incorporate his appearances for the Man City U21s which represent his competitive debuts a full year ahead of the currently indicated fixture. He had his first appearance for the Manchester City first team in 2020 but by that point he had already appeared twice in competitions for the U21s; those appearances count.

Cole Palmer's competitive debut came in the Football League Trophy for Manchester City U21s. He was an 88th minute substitute in a 2-1 victory against Bradford City at Valley Parade (or the Northern Commercials Stadium as it was called at the time) on 24/09/2019. His first start came the following month in a 3-1 loss against Bolton Wanderers at the Toughsheet Community Stadium (as it was called at the time) on 29/10/2019. Source: https://www.mancity.com/news/eds/match-report/2019/october/bolton-v-city-u21-report

Although he had appearances for the Man City first team after these two games, including his Premier League debut against Norwich on 21/08/2021, Palmer's first competitive goal was scored for the Man City U21s in the Football League Trophy during an away match against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on 24/08/2021.
