Trivial fact?[edit]

I would think it has to do with the fact that you can't argue about if something is a class society or not, either it has, at least implicitly, social classes, or it doesn't. I think the sentence is to avoid people mistakenly taking a political approach instead of a antropological or sociological. I read it as that at least, and I think it makes sense, but it should maybe be rephrased.
"But the whether or not something is a class society or not is not a matter of opinion; it is rather a question of sociological and or anthropological fact."
I'll change it to this.

- Thanks for your thoughts. I've reworded it again to try making this clearer. I'm afraid I've also removed a couple of sources you added, as they are unnecessary (e.g. other references give definitions of class society, so a dictionary source is not required). -- Pingumeister(talk) 15:07, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
