Unreliable sources[edit]

I added some templates to the beginning of this article, given that I felt that it's not as free of subjective thoughts as one would wish. The political role of KDNP is far more complicated than to be characterized by using the aforementioned sources. My reasons for doing so:

- fairobserver.com fails to give reasons for calling KDNP a "satellite party", hence it would be an appropriate source if one would want to argue in favour of of the fact that KDNP is called as such by certain sources, but in itself it is unable to argue in favour of this description

- Dr. Batory's article fails at the same level.

- the articles published in HVG is a fine source if one would like to present KDNP's lack of original profile or original political character however, since all the information about its inability to be measured comes from hypotheses or empirically unsupported statements i.e. that of Ms. Szomszéd. One would need actual research data to support such claims like published research papers presented by political scientists or sociologists.

- ipsos.hu failes again to mention actual results. These are mainly voting preferences done on a small population to reflect the whole populance, and as such it is most adequate to support the hypotheses of this post, yet it is unable to support the claims brought forward in the beginning of this article

- the interview with Mr. Harrach is, for the lack of a better word, useless in two aspects. Number one, it is an interview with a politician and as such it cannot be used as the scientific base of an encyclopedia. And number two, Mr. Harrach didn't mention numbers or statistics either, he merely said that measuring the popularity of Fidesz and that of KDNP is "unnecessary". I agree that he's trying to bagatellize the unpopularity of his party, but that's my own opinion which is why I did not add it to this present article.

- Mr. Lázár's view on this question is purely his own. Even the text of this article says that his opinion could be contrasted with that of his fellow party members, and for that it is not an official statement released by the party.

Now, I personally believe that as KDNP was engulfed into Fidesz, their relationship became quite similar to that of Rome and Greece. In what way? I believe that just as Rome lost her original profile and became Hellenized, the very same happened to Fidesz, which was escalated into statements done by even Viktor Orbán numerous times calling himself and the government "Christian Democratic". This is why I said that the popularity of KDNP and its distinct or not so distinct profile from Fidesz is a multi-layered and obscure question that need proper sources. I might have this opinion, but since I cannot support it with empirical facts, I may not write it down. I advise the same to the editors of this prestigious encyclopedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.183.98.106 (talkcontribs) 12:30, 9 July 2013‎

Organizations that oppose the LGBT rights in Hungary[edit]

The KDNP is also opposes the LGBT rights in Hungary, like the Fidesz, and the Our Homeland Movement party. In the 2022 Hungarian Anti-LGBTQ Referendum, the KDNP, Fidesz and the Our Homeland Movement is supported the "NO" vote, on the referendum paper, while the opposition parties and the LGBT right activists are supported the "YES" vote, and the MKKP party is supported the invalid vote, like in the 2016 Hungarian Referendum.
