BIOGRAPHY[edit]

BOB MURDOCH has just died. 1) AS obits and tributes come in, this page should be greatly expanded to provide a fitting bio and tribute of his life in hockey. 2) Early life...From Kirkland Lake...to?? 3) Junior Hockey? 4) Academics? 5) Post-NHL Coaching--Europe? Is there anything on these teams that need to be translated and shared from another language on wiki accounts? 6) Final years, and personal life. I just viewed a very touching video from his widow and daughters on his final years in Canmore in a nursing home. Ken Dryden wrote about it in 2022.

wondering why the 1946 birthdate was chosen over may 17, 1947. How do we know which one is correct?18abruce (talk) 12:32, 1 May 2020 (UTC) hopefully this will be clarified as his obituary is published.[reply]

November 20, 1946 is the birth date listed on his obituary.

I see the date in the internet Hockey Data base....now i'll be interested in digging up my old hockey cards!! 205.189.94.2 (talk) 20:38, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
