From 1952-56 I attended a private high school in Northern Indiana at which several Latino students were enrolled. All played soccer, which was less familiar in those day to us US students. When anything positive happened, particularly at a soccer game, they would frequently shout "arriba." At 85 I still yell it out when I watch a positive athletic accomplishment on TV.I attend a water aerobics class three times a week. One facilitator is very vibrant and pushes us octogenarians to give it an extra effort.
