Notability[edit]

I believe the company passes the notability guidelines. A book about video editing (http://safari.oreilly.com/0131001051/ch12) partially focuses on editing video with one of the company's products, ShowBiz.

Also, if you do a Google search for "ArcSoft", it will return many results. ~~Eugene2x ☺ ~~ 02:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Being in google doesn't mean notability. Family Guy Guy 04:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Make sure notability information is in the article itself. If you're pretty sure that the subject meets the guidelines at WP:CORP, you can remove the prod tag yourself. That won't prevent someone from sending it to WP:AFD for consensus, but you'd still have a chance to defend it then. NickelShoe (Talk) 14:22, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Corporation is definitely notable. Many of the leading manufacturers (such as Canon) of scanners, cameras, printers, etc., bundle this company's software with their equipment. —Lowellian (reply) 05:27, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They just signed a HUGE deal to be included in KODAK software products 1/2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.236.168.65 (talk) 19:43, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Update or remove please: Arcsoft has been ignoring its customers for over 5 years[edit]

While this company may still seem to exist online - it's been ignoring the many thousands of customers who purchased their products and can no longer activate the programs they purchased, for over 5 years. All emails and online contact with this company continue to be ignored. The last post on their X and Facebook accounts was in 2018. They have no responded to any enquiries from their customers since then which you can see from the numerous requests on Facebook for help.

May I encourage you to update this information so that it's clear this company is NOT supporting its customers and no longer sells any kind of graphics/image programs - and if it does, it's not supporting its customers so is not a legitimate or trustworthy company.
