Should Clan Tremere be included under Mehket? --213.202.179.32 20:11, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. While the Ritual that created them was made using Tzimisce blood as a base, they were not descended from the Tzimisce. Offkorn 21:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, they should. Tremere (as in the 3rd gen vampire) is the only one who's actually got a drop of Salout's blood in him, the others are all made from Tzimisce blood and in the Gehenna books it is suggested that they will suffer the same fate of the Tzimisce Clan. Basically [Tzimisce] will awaken in their blood and destroy them from the inside out with flesh crafting. The Tremere are little more then a very dinstinct bloodline of the Tzimisce as far as such things go. Lich

Agree tremer if anything should be under salubri for the diableri of salut

One more thing i changed mehkem whit mekhem his probably the strongest Vicissitude Tzimisce around and full name is "mekhem the metamorphosist". In the dirty secrets of the black hand book it says when the Vicissitude was obtained and its after the antideluvians where all gone so very unsure as to who mekhem then represents and what generation he possesses. Maybe someone with knowledge of the sabat diablery on Tzimisce can tell if mekhem is the one that got Tzimisce's essence?

Dirty Secrets of the Black Hand is lauded as easily the worst book in VtM and the old WoD in general, and was erased from canon whole sale (though a few of the ideas poped up later in slightly less retarded ways). Nothing in that book matters. While the idea of Viccistidue (sp?) as a disease resurfaces in the Revised edition, it's also made clear in several sources that [Tzimisce] and it's entire line where always known for the power and masterful at it's use. Tzimisce survived atleast one death with it, it's childe Yorak built an entire building called the Cathedral of Flesh with it, and another named The Dracon gave birth to a ressurected Tzimisce with it. So it's always been there. As for who killed [Tzimisce], it wasn't anyone named Mehket. It started with a G... And canon almost always points out the rumor is it didn't even work when it tells the story. Indeed, in the Gehenna books it's reveled such a thing was not even possible, and [Tzimisce] effectivly wins the Jyhad when it remerges. Lich

Other True-Names(mortal) names for Tzimisce(Zhi-Mee-See);- Mehket, Jameecsi, Cherngokv (the Great Seer),Cherneglov (Husband of Kupala)

Not to nitpick but by WoD metaphysics every being in existance only has one True Name. That's what the True part means. I'd assume the true name of [Tzimisce] is Mehket then. Mehket, for some reason, is mentioned constantly in canon as the only true name of an antidullivian that is known for sure, though no one is sure which. If a book pointed out it was Tzimisce, well, there you go.Lich

Nictuku[edit]

"Absimilliard's other descendants are the Nictuku: massively powerful and vastly hideous monsters who seek to destroy the Nosferatu by their founder's will." with a source listed as Night's of Prophecy Chapter 3... Am I the only one that sees a problem with this? According to that story, 1> "Nictuku" is a single vampire, not some kind of rival clan. 2> The Nictuku is not hideous, indeed it's depicted as a quite beatiful child. 3> the whole "by their founder's will." thing was also called into question, as it's revealed the Nictuku was some kind of psychotic monster even before the embrace. Should the widely accepted In Game legend be listed here, or the one instance when they finally show what the Nictuku actually was?
