British actress of Indian descent?[edit]

Found the solution to this. Look at the page of Saoirse Ronan and change it accordingly. Why not British-born Indian actress (if you she is that obsessed with being called a British citizen)!! She's not British like it says. Both her parents are Indian; it's not Indian "descent." She lives in India; also not Indian "descent." Anant-morgan (talk) 21:45, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per MOS:CITIZEN, she is British, as well as the fact that India doesn't allow dual citizenship. Saoirse Ronan may not be a good example her since she possibly has dual citizenship unlike the subject. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:13, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But ethnicity wise, she has also been Indian and lives here too. We did same for Akshay Kumar and didn't call him 'Canadian.' In fact, the only reason calling her "British of Indian descent" would be if she preferred that way. Anant-morgan (talk) 11:34, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kumar was originally an Indian citizen, he was Canadian for a decade, then reverted back. Besides, we do not use ethnicity in lead, only citizenship/nationality. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:16, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
