Edits introduced errors[edit]

Most will be unsurprised to learn that I have a fondness for the former incarnation of this article, since it was largely my own work. After a break, I now see that the current article hasn't merely been edited– inaccuracies and errors have been introduced! I'll try to hack out some time IRL for this article. I shudder to think what may have happened in related articles.

Do not restore the lengthy first-person account. It can simply be summarised, as was done. Which errors are you referring to?--Jeffro77 (talk) 22:44, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For example, Macmillan's explicit statement, "some of us had been a bit too hasty in thinking that we were going to heaven right away" plainly implied that not all felt as he had. An editor replaced that with they "had been a bit too hasty in thinking [they] were going to heaven right away [that is, with "they" instead of "some of us"]. I have reverted to Macmillan's actual quote. I've also reinstated the quote box that was removed (compare). I'll try to find time for additional needed edits.--AuthorityTam (talk) 23:01, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
