Melchizedek[edit]

I feel this article should mention the apparent relationship between Melchizedek from Genesis 14 and Adonizedek in Jasher 16. Thoughts? Goodolclint 05:55, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is interesting that reading this part of the scripture in th bible (Joshua 10), I suddenly realize that striking resemblance with Melchizedek. I know that all mentions in the bible are not coincidental but rather their timings are effectively used for a message by God. Whether it was in error or intentional.
i think looking wt Adonizedek from the perspective of Melchizedek could yield something unique on this matter.
Why Adonizedek? Why now? And why Jerusalem? In the face of the principles of strongholds, could Jerusalem be holding the key to eternal spiritual triumph? 102.217.7.14 (talk) 03:53, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jesus and the Battle of Siddim[edit]

While doing research on the character of Melchizedek, I found an unusual interpretation which asserts that Melchizedek and Jesus are the same person. Now, since Melchizedek is often believed to have fought at the Vale of Siddim, this view would practically lead us to think that Jesus himself fought in that battle.
