Disputed[edit]

According to some sources the results displayed in this article do not belong to the South Australian Championships but to the 1974 Melbourne Grand Prix tournament. Needs to be checked and possibly updated.--Wolbo (talk) 22:35, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Wolbo: I've just noticed this as well, and moved the original page to 1974 South Pacific Championships (held in Melbourne), consistent with the ITF's database and 1974 Grand Prix (tennis), and added the correct data for this tournament. Calbow (talk) 12:48, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Categories change explanation[edit]

This article was in Category:January 1974 sports events in Australia, but the article consistently indicates it took place in December. I have therefore moved it to Category:December 1974 sports events in Australia on the assumption that the December date is correct. However if anyone has a source that indicates the December date is wrong then please feel free to amend the article. Dunarc (talk) 22:41, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
