Founding and Growth[edit]

Founded in 1956 by Joseph R. Loring, an engineer known for his talent and integrity, Loring Consulting Engineers has become one of the most respected firms in North America. The company started with its first project for the Schaefer Brewing Company in Brooklyn, NY. Within six years, it was chosen by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to be the Electrical Engineer of Record for the iconic World Trade Center complex.
