Dr Kiran Puttappa born on 19th of April 73 is an Indian born Australian General practitioner. He is currently CEO of GP West Group of Medical Centers in Perth, Western Australia.

Kiran Puttappa was born on 19th of April 73 to indian Hindu, Veerashaiva Lingayat family Puttappa and Nanjamani. Dad is a civil engineer by profession and Mum,housewife. He was born in Mysore district of Karnataka state and studied In Tumkur District in Karnataka. He did his medical school from JSS Medical College in Mysore and worked in various hospitals including National Institute of Mental Health before moving to United Kingdom.

He relocated from UK to Australia in 2003 and trained in various subspecialties, psychiatry, general medicine and finally became primary care physician specialising in diabetes andcomplex medical problems.

He founded GP West Group of Medical Centres in 2010 and currently he is the CEO of the company. The company caters the Primary Health care needs of the local communities and has got more than 200 medical and non-medical staffs Serving the community.

Personal life
Married to Jyothi, a PHD in pharmacology and has two daughters.
