Fatema Al Harbi is a Bahraini peace activist, former civil servant, and the Director of Gulf affairs at the UAE-based organization Sharaka,[1] and CEO of the organizations's Bahrain branch.[2]

Career[edit]

In 2020, Al Harbi was working for the Bahraini Ministry of Education.[3] In late 2020, she became involved with Sharaka, an organization promoting the Abraham Accords, and visited Israel for the first time as part of their delegation.[3] Following her visit, she decided to quit her job to work for Sharaka full-time.[3] As part of her work with Sharaka, Al Harbi has since visited two other times,[1][4] and has visited the United States on Sharaka speaking tours.[3][5][6] In 2022 and 2023, she was part of Sharaka's delegation to the March of the Living in Poland, a Holocaust commemoration event.[2]
